• Welcome Back...hope everyone had a relaxing break and wonderful holiday!
• There is information on our website about two basketball camp scholarships.  (1.)Young women entering sixth, seventh or eighth grades are eligible for the Kellie Harper Basketball Academy Scholarship. This scholarship is not available to students entering the ninth grade. Each winner will receive an all‐expense paid scholarship to attend the Kellie Harper Wolfpack Basketball Academy
  during the summer of 2013. (2.)Young men entering sixth, seventh or eighth grades are eligible for the Roy Williams Carolina Basketball Camp Scholarship. Please note this scholarship is not available to students entering the ninth grade. Each winner will receive an all‐expense paid scholarship to attend the Roy Williams Carolina Basketball Camp Saturday, June 15 – Wednesday, June 19, 2013.  For more information, please download a FORM from our site!
• Our Patriot Basketball season will kick off this Saturday with scrimmage games for both the boys and girls teams.  Their schedules are on our website.  Come out and support our teams this season!
• Art Donations -  Our art classes are working on our last project of the semester - recycled or found object art. What this means is that the kids are using materials that are not normally thought of as art media (cardboard, bottle caps, cans, bottles, old toys, leftover tile... you get the idea) to create a project. This can produce some pretty cool work BUT the students and I need help with supplies! I have a limited amount of recyclables/consumables and they are bringing in all they can but more is always better (and awesomely appreciated!!!).  If you have anything at home that you need to get rid of - old electronics, plastic recyclables, lids, jars, clean food containers, ANYTHING mentioned above, or that you think might be usable - please consider donating it to us!  They won't start building anything until Tuesday but even if you have things that you think of to bring after that date it will still be appreciated.  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANYTHING YOU ARE ABLE TO DONATE! LET US HAVE YOUR TRASH!!! It can be dropped off in the front office.
