• Winnin' With Quinlan - Quinlan is an 8th grade student on the Rocket Team that is battling cancer. To show Quinlan that we are behind him in this fight, we are selling bracelets for $2 each with the "Winnin' With Quinlan" message on it.  The Rocket Team will also host a spaghetti Supper on Friday, March 8th from 4pm until 7pm at KMMS.  All plates are $6 and include spaghetti, salad and bread.  Drinks and desserts will be sold separately.  You may eat in or carry out.  All of the proceeds from the bracelets and the dinner go to Quinlan Scism and his family to help with expenses.  
• Beta Club Induction - New inductees will become official members of the KMMS Junior National Beta Club on Monday, February 25 at 6pm at the KMHS auditorium. Students need to be at the high school by 5:45. 
• Are you tired of buying and losing flash drives? Use this link to sign up for a FREE 5GB Box account! (https://www.box.com/) Students would benefit from having an account because they would be able to access their files at home and at school.  Just today...a student lost all of his files on his flash drive due to a corrupt file.  This is a great solution for that problem!  Other similar accounts are Dropbox and Skydrive. 
• Championship Game Today - The KMMS Girl's Basketball Team will play against Crest at Crest today for the Championship...come out and support our girls!
• Assembly - For our 8th graders on Monday afternoon, February 25th at 2:00.  Trae McMaken from ETSU will present to our 8th graders on the Overmountain Victory Trail and the Battle of Kings Mountain.
• Boys Track Tryouts start on Monday!
• Early College High School - Will be here to present information to our 8th grade students on 2/26.
• Progress Reports - The next report will be sent home on March 7th.  At this point, we will be 2/3 of the way through our 3rd grading period.  Please make sure that students are working toward positive averages in all classes and a 100% completion of their AR goal!  At this point, students should have about half of their goal met...if not more!
