• Early Dismissal - The middle and high schools in CCS will dismiss students at 11:30am on May 31st.  Middle and high schools will dismiss students at 11:30am on June 10th. 
• Spirit Night at McDonald's - Beta Club is sponsoring a Spirit Night at McDonald's on May 21st from 5-8pm.  All of the proceeds will go to support the backpack program that was started at our school this year. 
• Band Concert - @ KMHS on Tuesday, May 14th
• Pizza Celebration - for Girls Soccer and Boys Track at 3pm on Wednesday, May 15th
• Field Trip - The Stingray Team will be on a field trip on Friday, May 17th
• Testing - May 21st - 7th and 8th grade Social Studies MSL testing (end of grade testing for Social Studies)
• Testing - May 22nd - 7th grade Science MSL testing
• School Dance - There will be a school dance on May 24th from 6-8:30pm.
• Holiday - May 27th is a Memorial Day - No school for teachers or students 
• Shoes 4 Water - Don't forget to bring your unwanted shoes to KMMS to help supply water to communities in Kenya!  This project is sponsored by the Beta Club. 
• Sports Physicals - 5/22 - Rising 9th grade physicals at KMMS during PE; 5/24 - Rising 7th and 8th grade physicals at KMIS and KMMS during PE!
• Scholastic Book Fair - May 13th-17th - This will be our buy one get one free sale.  It is a great time to stock up on some good books for the summer!  Our supply is limited...so shop early!   
• Proctors Needed! -  June 4th, 5th, and 6th - If you are available and would like to help our school in this way, please click on this link or contact the school at 704-476-8340.  You may volunteer for only one test date, or as many as works with your schedule.  Thank you in advance for your support! 
• Library News - Do you owe a late fee for overdue books in our library?  If so, all you have to do is to turn in all library books by May 31st and your late fees will be waived.  Fees for damaged or lost books will still need to be paid by the end of the year.  Report cards will not be distributed until all fees are paid.  The last day to check out a book is May 29th.  AR cutoff is May 31st, and all books are due on the 31st!
