• Progress Reports - were sent home with students yesterday!  
• Gateway to a Cure - 5K Run/Walk - 8am on Saturday, October 12, 2013 - Last year, while attending Kings Mountain Middle School, Scotty Hill, was diagnosed with Stage Four Rhabdomyosarcoma Renal Tumors and was unable to attend school the remainder of the school year.  He is still having ongoing treatment.  A fellow classmate, Meridith Wyte, is sponsoring this race in order to raise funds to help with his medical expenses.  The race will start and finish at the Gazebo located in Patriot's Park in Downtown Kings Mountain.  Cost is $20 until September 21st and $25 from September 22nd until race day.  Packet pickup will be on the race day...prior to the race.  Cash or checks only.  Registration Form Download
•  Sports Update - KMMS defeated NL yesterday 22-20.  We scored with a 60 yard pass to Mike Toms from Hunter Blanton...with a 2 pt. conversion run by Sabiem Beam.  Michael Collins scored a touchdown with a failed attempt at a 2 pt. conversions. Paul Culbreth ran a 48 yard touchdown with a 2 pt. conversion pass to Mike Toms in the 3rd quarter.
