- Progress Reports - Go home tomorrow!
- Early College High School - If you have a child that is in the 8th grade that is interested in applying for the ECHS, there will be a parent meeting on November 18th at 6:30pm.
- Basketball - Open gym on November 19th from 6-7:30 for 8th graders wishing to try out for basketball. Open gym on November 21st from 607:30 for 7th graders wishing to try out.
- College Day - Many students at the high school will be applying for college this week. Decisions about career paths will begin as 8th graders register for high school at the end of this year. It is not too early for students at KMMS to explore careers and colleges that will prepare them for those careers. Therefore, we will have College Day this Friday, and we are encouraging students to wear their favorite college apparel.
- Sports news from last week - Volleyball - The Lady Patriots lost against East Lincoln. 22:25, 25:21, 19:25, 27:29. The team was led by Jordan Chapman, Cassidy Melton, Emilee Cloninger, and Belle Hollifield. --- The Lady Patriots led the way and dominated the game against Lincolnton 25:23, 25:16, 25:18. The Patriots were led by all of the players on the team. It was a great win for the team. Wrestling - KMMS beat East Lincoln by the score of 63-32. Kings mountain is now 2-1 on the year. Winning matches for KM were Alexis Garcia, Quenten Nguyen, Reese Reinhardt, Landry Crawford, JT Cash, Estevan Vargas, Jerdon Pressley, Paul Culbreth, Zachery Carroll, Collin Franks, and RJ Bishop. KM next wrestles Lincolnton away on Thursday.
