  • Report Cards - Go home with students on November 7th
  • Veterans Day Holiday - Monday, November 11th
  • Spirit Week - We will have KMMS Spirit Week next week...12th-15th.  Tuesday is Favorite Team Day.  Wear jerseys, t-shirts, and caps that sport your favorite team.  Wednesday is Tacky Day.  Thursday is 80's Day.  Friday is Patriot Pride Day! 
  • Winter Sports - Nov. 7th - Volleyball @ WL; Wrestling @ home against WL
  • Wrestling - Kings Mountain traveled to Burns and defeated them by a score of 78-24.  The lower weights got us off to a good start and we continued to wrestle well through the line up.  This was the first official match for Kings Mountain who is now 1-0.  Kings Mountains first home match will be Thursday against West Lincoln, which was the match-up of last year's championship match-up.  Winning matches for KM were Mason Nguyen, Quenton Nguyen, Reese Rienhardt, Joe Ruffalo, Landry Crawford, JT Cash, Jerdon Pressley, Zackary Carroll, Sedrick Morgan, Matthew Huffstetler, Collin Franks, RJ Bishop, and Tyler Hunley.  Please come out and support Thursday for the big match-up with West Lincoln.  
  • Reward Cookout - Nov. 15th - For students that have not received a level drop during the 1st 9 week grading period.  
  • Early College High School - If you have a child that is in the 8th grade that is interested in applying for the ECHS, there will be a parent meeting on November 18th at 6:30pm. 
  • Spooky Story Contest Winners - This contest is sponsored by the Kings Mountain Herald.  8th Grade Winners: 1st place - Hallie Hunt - Ms. Blaine's class; 2nd place - Katelin Phaengkhamhak - Ms. Blaine's class; 3rd place - Eric Davis - Mrs. York's class
  • Volleyball - KM got off to a great start winning their first game 25-15.  Burns made it tough the next game...winning the second game 25-13.  However, KM took the  next two 25-23 and then closed it out 25-7.  The patriots played well as a team and look to continued improvement Thursday afternoon as they travel to West Lincoln for their 2nd game of the year.  Record is 1-0.
